{"id":5667,"date":"2020-05-15T12:41:34","date_gmt":"2020-05-15T10:41:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.slavkocuruvijafondacija.rs\/?p=5667"},"modified":"2020-05-15T12:41:34","modified_gmt":"2020-05-15T10:41:34","slug":"critical-freedom-house-report-criticised","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scf.clickr.rs\/en\/critical-freedom-house-report-criticised\/","title":{"rendered":"Critical Freedom House report criticised"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>May 15, 2020<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>A Freedom House report has criticised the state of media freedom in Serbia, with the Serbian Government responding by criticising the report of Freedom House.<\/h2>\n<p>The reduction of media freedom is cited in the recently published Freedom House report for 2019 as one of the biggest problems in Serbia. According to FH, the worst examples are\u00a0<em>TV Pink\u00a0<\/em>and tabloid newspaper\u00a0<em>Informer<\/em>, as propaganda outlets of the ruling party.<\/p>\n<p>The Serbian Government, however, disagrees with the assessment contained in the report. Serbian President Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 said that the report of organisation Freedom House on Serbia is very flippant and filled with inaccuracies, but that it also contains things \u201cthat are true and that we must work on in order to fix\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Government of Serbia went a step further, sending Freedom House a \u201cstudious response on 18 pages\u201d. According to the assessment of Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabi\u0107, the Freedom House report on the state of democracy in Serbia does not show the true state of affairs, which is why the
